The Liturgical Ministryare the stalwarts of the church who are responsible for enormous task of organizing all masses that take place in the church and ensuring all other ministries involved like lectors, choirs, servers etc. are present to carry out their responsibilities during every service. This incredible ministry also liaises with the parish priest to schedule mass timings, which also includes organizing rosaries, benedictions, etc.

A vibrant group of volunteers dedicating time to assist parishioners and visitors in church from the car park to finding a seat in the pews and offertory collection as well the arrangement of the flow of Holy Communion. They are truly the unsung heroes.

The Altar Servers are an integral part of the celebration of the Holy Mass. They are lay assistants to the priest and support altar tasks such as ringing the altar bell, fetching incense, etc. Being an alter server is a call to prayer and mission, and it is a privileged way to draw closer to Jesus.

This outstanding ministry provides loving care and support to the disabled and the hearing impaired through faith development and formation. Presently, much of their work is centered on the hearing impaired. It has a pool of interpreters who provide interpreting services during the liturgical celebrations on Sundays at 8:00am. To meet them, just head the front pew of the church during this time. The Reach Ministry’sprogram also includes identifying hearing impaired Catholics in the diocese, recruiting volunteers and training interpreters.

These talented individuals are truly the songbirds of the church. They are divided into four different sections which are the Tamil Choir, the Bahasa Malaysia Choir and the Senior and Youth English Choir. The choir consists of organists, tabla players, guitarists and about 15 choir singers that produces the most glorious sounds during service. Psalms and Chants are beautifully sung in various languages to further celebrate the joy of Jesus.

These literary proclaimers of the word of God are specially tasked to read biblical text other than the Gospel. When Sacred Scriptures are read in church, God himself speaks to His people, and Christ, is present in His Word. This task is an honor. All new candidates for lector must receive training which takes place on Tuesdays at 8pm.
